LCSW, MSW, M.Ed., JD.
I see myself as a guide and partner in the therapeutic process. I do not make choices for clients or create their direction.
I help them assess where they are, where they want to be, and with sculpting a plan for how to get there.
My clients are
motivated to change. They have a go-forward mindset that dictates that while the negatives of the past are acknowledged and
understood, those issues are then put in a place that no longer influences their choices or reactions in limiting ways.
I believe
that individuals inherently have what they need to travel through their life. The direction they take may be influenced by other people
and circumstances and the path itself may have obstacles that impede their progress.
Overall, people know when they are blocked
or feel unfulfilled or thwarted. Within the partnership of a healthy therapeutic relationship, they can gain clarity, identify obstacles,
create a plan to move forward in a direction that will enhance life satisfaction and bring them peace.
