- Actively listen to you. This means that I will make efforts to hear all that you are saying.
I will listen to your tone of voice, your body language, your emotions as you talk. This is especially important if you have been
feeling like you are not being heard lately.
- Help you sort through your feelings about yourself and others.
- Help you make sense of
the changes in yourself and others: how your beliefs have changed, how your body has changed, how your friends have changed, how your
family has changed.
- Teach you how to understand the impact your behaviors and words have on others.
- Teach you how to define and pursue
the things that are really important to you.
- Help you decide how you want to develop yourself into a young adult.
- Teach you how to
communicate effectively.
- Help you work with and overcome your shyness, fears, anxiety, and anger.
